What We Do //
From Conceptualization to Practice //
Diogenec Group functions at the convergence of conceptualization, policy, and execution. Diogenec principals have served on Presidential commissions (the Gilmore Commission), developed nationwide programs in the U.S. and abroad, and in international positions. We are actively engaged in the development of policy and procedure, pursuing academic research, publishing with other thought leaders in healthcare (e.g., former Surgeons General), and contributing to the evolution of medical care and public health through such venues as IOM and NACCHO. Diogenec puts into place what it helps develop. We have provided direct support to design and distribution of medical countermeasures, both for exercises and for actual public health emergencies. Diogenec operates the SNS, contingency, and other warehouse function for the Nation's capital and the District of Columbia. Diogenec SMEs served as the physician in charge at Hamilton Township and delivered the CDC's Anthrax Vaccine Program educational briefings to the PHS strike team and regional reference laboratories following the 2001 postal anthrax attacks. It is this unique combination of vision, innovation, and demonstrated performance that sets Diogenec apart.

Real World Experience //
Diogenec Group includes experts who were at the Pentagon on 9/11, who responded to attacks on the World Trade Center in 1993 and 2001, who provided education and services as part of the response to domestic anthrax attacks, and who were instrumental in identifying the emergence of SARS to the Western world.
Our expertise is built upon decades of combined clinical and operational experience. This experience includes the oversight and provision of direct patient care, design and execution of relief operations, and domestic and overseas disease outbreak investigations. Deep technical acumen has facilitated operational and regulatory review and improvement programs at academic medical centers, outpatient and residential treatment facilities, managed care organizations, and public health entities. Diogenec experts have taught at the graduate level, in the military, and to private firms and business groups on subjects ranging from clinical investigation to preparedness planning to healthcare operations to identity theft. This depth of knowledge has supported accreditation survey preparation, drill and exercise evaluation, and clinical research review and support.
