Diogenec partners served as the leadership of the Center for Health Policy & Preparedness, an academic center within the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies from 2006 to 2012.  Additional activities include service on the Maryland Veterans Commission, on the

board of Melwood, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves people with

intellectual and developmental disabilities in the National Capitol

Region, and as a grant reviewer for the Health Resources and Services

Administration (HRSA).  In addition, Diogenec Group principles remain

active in professional organization leadership positions, including the

American Academy of Disaster Medicine, and the

American Association of Physician Specialists Foundation, the American
College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the Society for Disaster
Medicine and Public Health (SDMPH), the World Association for Disaster
and
Emergency Medicine (WADEM), and the Association of Military Surgeons

of the United States (AMSUS), as well as serving as founders of the International Commission on Disaster Medicine.
